| Dr. Rick Baxley is a pillar in the Orlando community operating a successful family practice in Orlando, Florida which we he built off of his ten seasons as the Orlando Magic Basketball team’s head physician. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. He furthered his studies at the University of Miami receiving his doctorate.
In Dr. Baxley’s prestigious career he has been bestowed many national and regional awards. In 1996, he received the President’s Volunteer Action Award under the National Points of Light Foundation. He is also the recipient of the Distinguished Leadership Award, Florida Family Physician of the Year award and “Top 10” finalist for Family Physician of the Year by the American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Baxley has served as Chairman of the Board for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.
